16 Januar 2012 - In Memoriam: Jan Engels, founder of the Engels Group
We feel sorry to communicate the sad news that Tuesday, 3-1-2012 the founder of our company, Mr. Jan Engels, died at the age of 90 years.
After his retirement in 1985, he always kept a strong interest in the company, even partaking at our 50 year’s jubilee in 2010.
In 30 years hard work, he built the foundation of the successful company we now are. We, staff and personnel of the Engels group, stand truly in his debt for that.
Mr. Engels was cremated Friday 6-1-2012. With him, the plastics multi-use packaging world lost a remarkable pioneer. We wish his wife strength to carry the loss.
